Review of El Greco (1966) by Scott R — 19 Jun 2010
First of all Ennio Morricone's soundtrack is magnificent (as usual)! The characters are strong and the cruelty of that era is only scketched. It's an art movie with a magical theatre-like atmosphere.
However, the action is quite copressed to fit to the length of the movie, hence, events happening in a few months finish in short time without properly informing the viewer about the larger term of their developement .
