Review of Ed Wood (1994) by Mana N — 23 Jul 2012
Through the fictionalized biography of the worst director of the cinema, Burton appreciates the "love and joy of filmmaking" and shows it even more important than the result. there is a crucial scene in the movie, Ed Wood accidentally meets legendary Orson Welles and two filmmakers (the worst and the best) shares their common feelings, fears, troubles and joys in movie industrial.
it does not matter that Welles made Citizen Kane and Wood did nothing but some trashes, the point is both loves their work.
