Review of Drugstore Cowboy (1989) by Chris C — 06 Jan 2010
One of my favorite movies from Gus Van Sant. This is a lot different from his other work, yet still holds a lot of the same style. The 70s backdrop worked perfect for an addiction narrative. I absolutely loved all of the performances, they were dead on while also being hilarious.
It's a very heart-felt and powerful story that truly means something, it isn't just another story about drugs.
