Review of Drool (2009) by Erik P — 25 Jul 2010
An odd little movie. Laura Harring (Mulholland Drive) plays a housewife who is married to an abusive asshole of a husband. Their kids are screwed up because of it as well. Laura's character has these dream sequences with this fantasy man where everything is wonderful.
It's ironic that the man in these fantasies is her husband. This is a little film that doesn't try to go for big aspirations. It basically turns out to be a road movie because of the situation of Laura's decision concerning her husband.
A few good moments. It's just that there's a lot of screwed up people in this. Watch it once. That may be enough for most.
