Review of Dream Home (2010) by Greg T — 24 Nov 2010

Some reviews suggest this is a black horror/comedy in the 'Re-Animator' vein-comically over the top, silly and fun. It's not though-it's a savage, shocking and brutal slasher film which, if it elicits a smile, it's at the audacity of the murders and amount of bloodletting that is undertaken in the desire of getting on the Hong Kong property ladder.

The backstory, and the struggle the protagonist goes through to pull together a house deposit and find her dream home, should chime with many renting Londoners, although the subsequent extremities hopefully won't chime with many.
