Review of Dr. Cabbie (2014) by Nisheeth G — 25 Nov 2014
You can't help but root for Deepak Chopra in Jean-Francois's newest film, Dr. Cabbie. Played by Toronto native Vinay Virmani, Deepak follows in his late father's footsteps by becoming a doctor in his homeland, India.
But after coming to Canada with his mother, he finds getting a position as a doctor more difficult than he thought and he's forced to take a job as a cab driver. Regardless, Deepak finds a way to do what he loves, while finding someone lovely to share his life with, in this lighthearted comedy.
