Maria Bello is simply amazing, and really became her character (a woman who is in so much emotional pain she can't stand it). Rufus Sewell is also great as the unemotional husband, and Jason Patric was surprisingly good.
This film is not for everyone as it is very violent and deals with abuse issues.
