In an age of comic book movies and overblown action scenes, De Palam's films are ignored as being old-school. However, if some time is taken to watch his films, it will be noticable that they are full of emotion, well shot scenes, and good directing.

While this may not be one of his best, it does feature many of his greatest film techniques, which is always welcome.
