Review of Do the Right Thing (1997) by Dustin G — 18 Oct 2009
This film certainly has a time and place. Unlike some other classic films that can be considered 'timeless' Do the Right Thing is unquestionably a product of the early 90's, even though it came out at the end of the 80's.
That isn't a bad thing. And that doesn't mean it's dated. It's still as well written, directed, acted and as powerful as ever. Spike Lee's a fantastic director and this is his best film.
