Review of Distance (2001) by Richard D — 21 Sep 2007
A Fascinating film, beautifully shot and acted, and an intellegent consideration of greif and shame. There are clear references to Shoko Asahara's attacks through the cultists and their base. The only thing that I'm not sure about is the generic shifting into horror.
A fascinating and moving film by a modern great.
