Aamir Khan is one of the top international actors of this generation. I can't fault him for cashing a paycheck once in a while, and he is by far the star attraction of Dhoom 3. Unfortunately, the film itself is a mess, without the finer points of comedy and action that really made Dhoom 2 stand out.
Also, setting a Bollywood film in America really robs the American audience of much of the Bollywood experience itself. Ok action picture, but not the fun thrill-ride that Dhoom 2 was. Looking forward to Dhoom 4, regardless.
