Highly recommended! I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, it is a home run of a debut for Kiran Rao, smart and talented woman. I have never been in Mumbai, but after watching this movie, I have fallen in love with the city, and now I am able to appreciate it from a more tangible, credible and contemporary perspective.
This is true parallel cinema, and I love to see Aamir making more of these thought provoking genre, keep them coming! Prateik Babbar (Munna) was stellar, and so were both other female main actresses. A much needed break from the mainstream Bolly hits, a breath of fresh air in hopes of finding more like these in an ocean of movies.
