Review of Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father (2008) by Kyle P — 08 Dec 2008
Any one who knows me knows that I'm not big crier. I haven't cried during a movie since I saw Godzilla as kid. But during my time watching this movie I bawled my eyes out. I defy any of you to do otherwise.
If you don't cry then I'm sorry, your just not human. If this was just a fictional Hollywood movie it would still be sad but knowing that everything is REAL, and REALLY happened will shred your soul.
I would really like to go more in-depth but part of the emotional impact of this film is discovering what happens along with people who are interviewed. But suffice to say that your your trust in humanity, the law and those who enforce it will be shaken to the core.
I'm still broken up about this movie and it's been an hour and a half since I finished. Please. Please see this movie.
