Review of Cocktail (2012) by Shristi Singh C — 19 Jul 2012

Coctail is a movie about friendship, love and everything that comes with it, jealousy, selfishness, fun, emotions and drama. I think cocktail was one of the best movies of 2012 and the best romantic-comedy out of Bollywood so far. yes the story is a bit clichà (C)d but the director has made each scene so fabulously that you will feel you are actually there. The two drawback in the movie are firstly, Saif Ali Khan doesn't suit in the role of an 32 year old - Gautam just doesn't suit him and secondly the climax was so predictable. my favourite and most depressing scene in Cocktail was when Deepika (who did a marvelous job) was in the club totally devastated by her best friend's and boy friend's betrayal.

Overall I loved Cocktail - My favourite movie of the year!!
