One thing this movie pulls of that American made counterparts with British actors can't quite nail, is the vernacular. Though it was quite too lax in comparison to other crime/dramas much like the show The Night Of which Ahmed starred in and was nothing short of phenomenal.
This movie even in its darkest and most tensest moments just somehow felt so mellow and hollow.
