Like an animated precursor to "Buena Vista Social Club", "Chico y Rita" is a love/hate story surrounded by the Cuban music scene of the 50's and 60's. Straightforward as the story is, the beautiful music and the colorful animation is what takes it further.
Anyone interested in jazz/cuban music of the time must seek this out.
