Review of Cheyenne Warrior (1994) by Don S — 17 Jun 2011
This COULD have been a great movie, but for a couple of things... the acting and too much killing. I realize this is a western, and that IS how it was back in those days, but I rented this for my family based on the PG rating, and wasn't expecting this much gunplay.
I am a fan of both Kelly Preston and Dan Haggerty, but in many scenes it appeared they were "phoning it in;" you could tell they were "acting" and not really getting into their portrayal of the characters.
The film is enjoyable for the message it sends, but I would have liked to seen one of the lovers sacrifice everything to stay with the other.
