Review of Chappie (2015) by Sarah C — 20 Jul 2015

This was one of those films I didn't bother going to see at the cinema due to its terrible reviews, I only watched it as it was on at a friends house. I was amazed by the effects so watched it again from the start.

. This film is great. It can be compared to dozens of other films along this genre but it had a new way of looking at the whole AI/Life question. Chappie came across like a truly alive confused, over emotional and not always likable teenager but was believable th throughout the film, I was left unsure what emotions I was feeling myself at the end of this film as it posed some interesting questions as to what makes us alive and weather a character was actually dead or just transformed , It was just a great enjoyable and refreshing film , must see for anyone.
