Review of Cavalcade (1933) by Chance F — 02 Feb 2012

White I thought it was good film, it just seemed to be a rather watered down history of the first 33 years of the 20th century. While extravagant in visual effects (for 1933) and rich in dialogue, the film seems to drag on for two hours more than it actually is.

Indeed, I was astounded to see the run time was only an hour and 50 minutes. That being said, I am most certain I would have appreciated it a great deal more had I been born at a much earlier time.
