Review of Burnt by the Sun (1994) by Mark T — 13 Apr 2007
A beautiful-looking and subtle film, set in the 30s when Stalin's purges were in full swing. Main actors are fantastic and the tension between the two key protagonists is great drama. Some beautiful moments but a chilling ending.
