Review of Brigsby Bear (2017) by Brit M — 10 Apr 2017

I loved this movie. It was one of, if not my favorite movie at Sundance this year. I was born in the 80's and grew up in the 90's, this movie touched on a lot of nostalgic notes for me. This movie has a very unique story, Kyle Mooney portrays a man out of touch (James Pope); his character has a genuine sweetness and innocence to him.

We watch James reluctantly come to terms with reality, while trying to hold onto his past. This film is a heartfelt journey that was emotional, funny, and inventive. Five Stars!
