Lars von Trier is a vessel of painful human emotion that he blood splatters onto the screen. You may not like this movie (and you most likely won't the least scene) but this movie will leave you hauntingly unsettled and probably wanting more.
Unfortunately, I don't think von Trier delivers the same depth in Dancer in the Dark.
