Review of Bob le Flambeur (1956) by Darryl J — 28 Nov 2008
The best part of this "pre-cursor to French New Wave" film is Bob. That's probably pretty obvious, anyway. I really liked his character and how even the cops are his friends. The film is one of those "This is my last job.
After this,I'm out of the game" but it has a twist. Is it really a twist? It's really just Bob being Bob at the end and I'm not sure how much of a twist that really is. That's a positive thing by the way.
