Review of Boarding Gate (2007) by Gene S — 21 Dec 2008
Worth watching once. Not as illict as the trailer describes. More of a tale of lost souls. Asia Argento always seems to do nice work, and she acts well in this movie. I'm not a fan of Michael Madsen, and the plot was a tad ambiguous.
It was nice to see Joana Preiss in a movie again, albeit in a small role. "The No. 1 Song in Heaven, Part 2," by Sparks, is a neat song. In the end, it's a decent Indie flick (e.g., different, creative, imperfect).
