Review of Black Legion (1937) by Ian G — 02 Feb 2008
The events depicted looked over the top, and I was grumbling about the lack of 1930's subtlety while watching the film, which was actually quite good. Doing some research afterwards, the film proved to have been remarkably accurate, with the Black Legion being a violent offshoot from the 'moderate' KKK, and the cheesy rituals being almost word-for-word.
