I think setting this up as a "horror" movie was a mistake in that it set people's expectations on something that the movie isn't. If it had been billed as a thriller or something, I suspect the reviews would be better.
This is not a horror movie per se, although in one sense it is more horrific than any slasher movie because, unlike Vampire attacks or something similar, this could conceivably happen in real life. I thought the acting was outstanding and and the cinematography was pretty interesting.
