Review of Becket (1964) by Andrew W — 22 Jan 2008
Despite the excess in artistic license, the film is excellant. The bloated image of Thomas Becket, and the emaciated image of Henry Plantaganet strip it of its historical commentary; however, the performances are excellent and so is the film.
