An independent horror masterpiece! director Fred Vogel created something so brutal, shocking and completely frightening with almost no budget and a lot of creativity. "august underground" proved that horror could still grab you by the throat and kick your balls in after the painful "hollywood horror" we were all subjected to during the 90s.
"august underground" has yet to be topped and probably never will. cheers to mr. vogel.
