Review of Antiviral (2012) by Richard S — 30 Jun 2013
Well crafted and hauntingly beautiful, this film perfectly captures the essence of the dystopian parallel universe it is set in, where celebrity culture has reached a disturbing high point. Our creepy, yet weirdly attractive leading man Caleb Landry Jones plays Syd March, an employee at a firm specializing in celebrity viruses for rabid fans.
His performance is worth the slow pace of the film, which builds up to an impressive final scene.
