Review of American Violence (2017) by Amucomm — 01 May 2018
I'm against the death penalty, but this movie which tries to conjure up the notion of compassion and empathy and trying to analyze why the perpetrator became violent and is on death row misses on every point.
Instead of actually finding a common ground to where an intelligent discussion can be started, the movie fails and becomes laughable. None of the terrible acting and dialogue helps to propel that movie above an F-level.
This is not a bad B-movie that can be watched because bad can be good. No, it's simply a waste of time.
