Review of Amélie (2001) by George M — 31 Jul 2012
I really enjoyed this movie. This was the first film I've seen of Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Im really interested to see his other work. The film has a slick and dark sense of humor. Audrey Tautou's performance is adorable and comedic.
I got a sense that Jeunet was delivering the audience his own bizarrely beautiful version of Paris. If you like movies by Tim Burton of Federico Fellini than definitely check out Amelie. However be warned, you may just fall in love with her.
