Ive come to realize that Movies that are adaptations of graphic novels can suffer from the same shortcomings that movies from novels suffer. Little moments that you love and consider essential can be left out, but anyone else wouldn't know anything was missing.

And while I my favorite moment from the book didn't make it into the movie, it still is pretty terrific. After a rescue mission to have the astronauts manning the first maned mission to the sun, superman learns the rescue has given him a terminal condition.

Lots of great moments, even if the movie at times does feel a tad episodic. Recommend.
