Although this is a typical alien defense movie, the deeper is meaning to this movie that the unknowing critic would not see. This movie is about the how soldiers from all countries can come together for a common good.
The acting and action may have been a bit campy, but the premise and heart that the actors put into this movie stays true. Defend at all costs. Bring back all that you can, all soldiers understand this.
Look past the movie to the premise and you will understand what a soldier deals with in a combat situation.
