Most People don't like the lore-based installments of the Alien movies. I on the other hand, LOVE seeing the story aspects of Alien, and in a way helps the viewers see the xenomorphs as characters instead of indestructible cookie cutter villains.
the only movie I paid attention 100% to that I can remember since Donnie darko. Hopefully there's at least one more prequel to tie the current ark into the first alien movie.
