Review of Albert Nobbs (2011) by Maggie W — 03 Apr 2012
An intimate, thought-provoking film, not just about Albert, but about the roles we all adopt in Society to get by. Thought-provoking, poignant, and eminently discussable. If you go to films for entertainment, razzmatazz, violence, etc.
, this is NOT your film. If you like to be challenged in thought and feeling, are one that enjoys studying the human condition, you'll probably remember this quiet film as one that succeeds on those fronts.
