Review of A Hijacking (2012) by Konstantinos T — 05 May 2013
A Danish ship is hijacked by Somalian pirates. The film depicts the negotiations with the pirates to free the crew and the ship. They even brought in a real expert in such negotiations, to play the part of the expert.
Søren Malling does a superb job as the big boss from the shipping company, who juggles the hard task of talking to the families and comforting them, while trying to get his crew free. You can really sense that weight on his shoulders.
A well done film. I looks forward to more projects from writer - director Tobias Lindholm.
