Review of A Day Off (1968) by Bum D — 22 Jul 2007
Cary Grant before he bacame the lush with the fake bake... simply amazing. Katharine Hepburn kills in just about every one of her movies but this one is special in that she made the role fit her perfectly.
The movie is playul but has a serious undertone. The two greats at their finest. While not as witty as Bringing Up Baby or as perfectly outlines as The Philadelphia Story, this is easily one of my favorite love stories of all time.
Simply unforgettable!
