Review of 11:55 (2017) by Leslye T — 30 May 2017
A fully-loaded, slow burn powder keg of a film. I saw 11:55 at RiverRun International Film Festival where it deservedly received the Audience Award in the Altered States category for emerging independent voices.
An outstanding film bundled into 80 tense minutes. All film elements are well done - script, direction, production design and smart casting. Victor Almazar shines in his first lead role in a feature film.
A must see.
