Born in 1961 into a family of Spanish unionists exiled to Tangiers
in Morocco. He smuggled him in with them to her parents who emigrate
Switzerland in 1963 as seasonal workers. He participates in the
foundation in the early 80's the mecca of underground culture
in French-speaking Switzerland, Le Cabaret Orwell. After having programmed the
video creation, it becomes a self-taught, producer and director
independent. From 1983, he began putting together various experimental films and
iconoclastic reportages for television. In 1985, he joined
the association Climage and realized around a dozen documentaries,
today films of reference on the issues of immigration and
id. His documentary last Exit – the right to die has received
several international awards, including the prestigious Golden Link
EBU Award for best european co-production, and the Price of the Cinema
Switzerland 2006. Winner of the screenplay competition launched by the Tv
French-speaking switzerland, he is currently preparing his first fiction, Far
behind the mountain. He lives and works in Lausanne.
