Review of Wolfen (1981) by Tim H — 08 Jun 2007
A thinking person's horror movie. An outlandish concept is treated plausibly in this brilliantly realized film. The partnership of Albert Finney and Diane Venora as NYPD detectives with different approaches to their murder cases somewhat foreshadows the chemistry of Mulder and Scully in the X-Files.
Good stuff. Great scary musical score by James Horner.
