Review of Wishmaster (1997) by Lloyd D — 03 Dec 2009
The idea was used before in the Lamp (1988) with a more muderous Jin but this improves on it. A gene is unleased into the modern world and targets people with a single wish while pursuing the waker to grant her 3 wishes so he can free his race and overtake the world, brill acting by horror faves, smooth direction and brill effects.
The Gene's wishes arnt too hard to figure out with a bit of thought ("I want to escape"-(Hindini ref) and a fair idea on how his twisted yet inventive sense of humor works.
