Review of Wilson (1944) by Jeff B — 19 Jul 2009
Very good biopic from 1944 about a President Woodrow Wilson, excellently played by Alexander Knox. I don't know how much of this story is actually true, it was obviously made because WWII was taking place and audiences needed hope that America would win the war, but anyway, they did a good job of making this an entertaining film.
It's basically "The American President" 50 years ago with a touch of Independence Day (without the aliens). I really enjoyed it.
