Review of Walking Across Egypt (1999) by Vika D — 11 Jun 2011
I was a huge fan of Jonathan Taylor Thomas when I was a kid, and when I found this movie in the $5 bin at Wal*Mart, I bought it simply because he was in it. Then it sat in my collection for years and I never got around to watching it.
I finally did today, and I'm really glad I did, because it's a really sweet, albeit predictable and slow-moving, family drama. This is one of the better performances I've seen from Jonathan Taylor Thomas and the movie as a whole has something for everyone.
This is a really cute movie.
