Review of Voodoo Woman (1957) by Asif K — 01 Sep 2010
W/ the combination of voodoo & science Tom Conway (who keeps his wife locked away) tries to create a creature from a native girl who he wants her to kill & kill again. Unfortunately it's just not in her nature so he tries his experiment out on Marla English who has come to the jungle in search of native gold.
It is in English's nature to kill so everything seems to be going to plan until the natives give a new definition to kill whitey. Piss poor & pretty boring Voodoo Woman outstays its welcome even @ a brisk running time.
Even left open for a sequel that never came but this was remade as Curse of the Swamp Creature. So cheap that it's the same monster from The She-Creature w/ a different face & wig.
