I really love seeing anime on the big screen, all kinds, and I really enjoyed this movie, particularly the running, fighting scenes in the exosuits, and the metal sandworms! the Paul Oakenfold soundtrack worked pretty well too.
If you like Appleseed, Ghost in the Shell etc. you should enjoy this. The only thing that marred it for me a little was the screen quality at the BFI, what's with a grainy speckled print of a new film in this day and age?!
