Review of Universal Soldier: Regeneration (2010) by Daniel T — 09 Jan 2010
This is definitely the best sequel of the bunch. Great to see Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren go at it again. They're both in great fighting shape, though I wish there was a bit more of Lundgren in the movie.
Very fresh, and although you could tell that it was filmed on a low budget, the quality is way better that "Universal Soldier: The Return". Andrei Arlovsky has a good presence, and it helps that he doesn't say much.
It's too bad this wasn't slated to be a theatrical release for January, because it would have been much better in theaters than most of the January releases this year. Definitely check it out.
Oh, and the fight scenes are even better than the original film. Great job.
