Review of Universal Soldier: Regeneration (2010) by Tristan E — 01 Feb 2010
Oustanding piece of harsh action sci-fi nonsense.
It loses a star for not enough Dolph Lundgren but there never is, is there?
Some fantastic camera work including a very nice tracking shot through a building.
JCVD still has his chops but a lot of doubles are used for some of the more fearsome fighting stunts and falls.
Plenty of shootings, stabbings and beatings to keep all of you happy and I think if they made another one in this vein I'd watch.
There's a lot of hats on the ground at the end of this one. Brutal stuff, I love it.
