Review of Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning (2012) by Mike C — 30 Nov 2012

It's been quite an interesting in regards to franchises receiving better attention & much better reinvention. If you are an universal soldier fan you are in for a wonderful surprise.

Hyams does a wonderful job at directing the best entry in the series. The previous film laid the foundation for new action scenes but this trumps everything. The action scenes are the key but a deceptive story really surprised me.

The film belongs to Adkins who is just impressive. Some the fights are so brutal I couldn't bear to watch. Van damme is barely present and this is a let down as the man is really starting to come back to the spot light.

I was glued to the tv once the film kicked off. If you enjoy blood and awesome fighting then this the film for you.
