Review of Unfaithful (1931) by Michele B — 14 May 2008
Diane Lane's perfect role. As another reviewer on here mentioned, the scene where she reminsces and marvels about her marital indescetion on the train home was brilliantly done. A lesser actress could not have pulled it off.
A rare movie where the wife cheats not on her louse of a husband, but a perfectly decent (and good looking) husband. She stumbled upon the affair, and although she hurt her husband and family, one could see how even a happily married person can be lured into an affair.
Olivier Martinez, holy crap, what raw sexuality!
Fascinating character study.
