Review of Turn the River (2008) by Walter M — 26 Jun 2009
I really don't mind movies that study mundane aspects of human nature and misery. What I object to is having to see it in slow motion and this is how the tempo of this movie felt to me. Also, it is rather annoying to have the hustling aspect as an element of the story, because it didn't really fill any purpose except perhaps luring fans of 'Color of money' into incredibly boring honey trap.
